First post... The Philosophy

Post No Garde is art, music, fashion and any form of creative thought that was influenced by the No Garde movement. However, the No Garde movement never actually happened.

The No Garde movement was only a spark of an idea in one person's head. For fear of it becoming only a passing trend, it was never defined or described. Never put into words or action. Aborted immediately, not only for the sake of purity, but for something better, newer, stronger, untouchable.

Post No Garde pays homage No Garde's failed potential. Moving forward without beginning. Starting at the end. Immortalizing only the spark of creativity. Influenced by the ideas of the past, not their results. An evolutionary jump in original thought.

Regurgitating the same trend for every new generation has created artists that should have never been and hidden the true innovators of our time. Post No Garde says its time to break the retro cycle.

Challenge yourself to come up with something completely unique, something that's never been done before.

Have an original idea and immediately go beyond it. Push it to the next level before it's ever known to anyone.

Don't imitate your influences, but be inspired by their acts of creativity.

Take notice of the fads and counteract them.

Post No Garde has jumped the track and is traveling at random, out of control.
